Hausse de billets et monnaies en circulation, en 2020, de 16,6%, à plus de 15,7 milliards de dinars

Les billets et monnaies en circulation ont enregistré un accroissement de 2.241 MDT ou de 16,6%, pour clôturer l’exercice 2020 à 15.749,4 MD contre 13.508,4 MD en 2019, avec une part prépondérante des billets (97,4%), c’est ce qui ressort du rapport sur « Les Etats financiers et rapport des Commissaires aux comptes pour l’exercice clos le 31 décembre 2020 », publié mardi par la BCT.

Il convient de signaler l’accélération du taux d’accroissement de la circulation fiduciaire qui s’est établi à 16,6% pour la période entre fin 2019 et fin 2020, contre seulement 8,5 % pour la période entre fin 2018 et fin 2019.
