Toyota fait état d’une baisse de 42% de son bénéfice au 1er trimestre

Toyota Motor Corp a fait état jeudi d’une baisse de 42% de son bénéfice opérationnel au premier trimestre, pénalisé par la pénurie mondiale de puces et les restrictions imposées en Chine pour lutter contre la résurgence de l’épidémie de coronavirus.

Le bénéfice opérationnel du groupe au titre de son premier trimestre s’achevant au 30 juin s’est établi à 578,66 milliards de yens (4,26 milliards d’euros), en dessous des estimations des analystes.

Toyota a toutefois maintenu son objectif de bénéfice d’exploitation à 2,4 milliards de yens pour l’année en cours.
